I'm Back

In which I confirm that I am, in fact, still alive and blogging

Yes, I know that it's almost 3 months since my last post. Now that we have that out of the way, I feel that I should offer you some sort of explanation. In fact I have no less than three separate posts drafted explaining exactly why I've taken a hiatus from blogging, but they all felt too bulky, too mopey, and too forced. So, the short story is that it has been a long almost 3 months, and I have been sick on and off for almost the entire time. I have been busy with school work and extra-curriculars, and the truth is I just haven't had the time to blog. That's not to say that I haven't tried. I have several posts that I drafted up, which you will probably see appear later, after much revision, because to be completely honest they are pretty terrible.

If you would like a full post about exactly why I've been gone, I can revise and post the short novel that I drafted up. For now, however, I've decided that the best course of action is to just continue as if nothing happened. I intend to get back to a regular posting schedule and catch you up on everything that has happened in my life since January. So stay tuned, buckle your seat belts, and remain seated until the ride has come to a complete stop, because it's been a ride.
